How to create Notifications & Alerts?

Notification and Alerts are used to send job reminders, delay alerts, and status alerts to both your back-office users. 

Job Reminder - this will trigger a notification on the zuper app to the selected users/assigned technicians/admins when a job is about to being. The number of minutes prior to the job's start time the alert needs to be sent out can be configured.
Job Delay - this will trigger a notification on the zuper app to the selected users/assigned technicians/admins when a job is delayed. The amount of delay after which the alert needs to be triggered can be configured.
Job Status Alert - This will trigger a notification to the selected users/assigned technicians/admins. when the job is set to a particular status. this can be set to trigger a push notification on the zuper app, an email, or an SMS 

Please follow the below instructions to create a Notification / Alert.

  • Log in to Zuper with an admin account.
  • Scroll down the menu bar on the left and select the "Settings" icon.
  • Under the "Configuration Settings" panel, select "Notification & Alerts".
  • Select "Job Notifications" under "Configurations".

Job Reminders

This sends a reminder to the field executives, team leader, or customer before the start of a job.

  • Click on the "New Reminder" button.
  • REMINDER NAME : Enter the name of the reminder.
  • REMIND BEFORE : Enter the number of minutes prior to the job that the remainder needs to be sent out.
  • SEND REMINDER TO : Select who should receive this notification.
    -> Team Leaders and Assigned Employees
    -> Only Team Leader
    -> Only Assigned Employees
    -> Select User (if selected, you can choose the users that need to receive the notification in the "PICK USERS" Field)
  • REMINDER TEMPLATE: Enter the message that will be sent out for this notification. The "available components" can be used in the message, these will auto-populate the respective data from Zuper job.

Fill in the details in the above fields and click on "Save Reminder".

Job Delay Alerts

This sends an alert to the team leader or the field executives in the event of a delay in the job status setting.

  • Click on the "New Delay Alert" button.
  • ALERT NAME: Enter the name of the Alert.
  • ALERT IF JOB DELAYED BY: Enter the number of minutes after the job's schedule time to initiate the alert.
  • SEND ALERT TO: Select who should receive this notification.
    -> Team Leaders and Assigned Employees
    -> Only Team Leader
    -> Only Assigned Employees
    -> Select User (if selected, enter the users that need to receive the notification in the "PICK USERS" Field)
  • ALERT TEMPLATE : Enter the message that will be sent out for this notification. The "available components" can be used in the message, these will call on the respective data from Zuper.

Fill in the details in the above fields and click on "Save Alert".

Job Status Alert

This sends an alert to the team leader or the field executives in the event of a job status update to the configured status.

  • Click on the "New Remainder" button.
  • ALERT NAME : Enter the name of the reminder.
  • NOTIFICATION TYPE : Select between SMS and Email notification type.
  • SEND ALERT TO : Select who should receive this notification.
    -> Team Leaders and Assigned Employees
    -> Only Team Leader
    -> Only Assigned Employees
    -> Select User (if selected, enter the users that need to receive the notification in the "PICK USERS" Field)
  • JOB CATEGORY : Select the job category for which the remainder needs to be triggered.
  • JOB STATUS : Select the Job status for which the remainder needs to be triggered.
  • EMAIL SUBJECT : Enter a subject for the notification email.
  • SMS/EMAIL BODY : Enter the message that will be sent out for this notification. The "available components" can be used in the message, these will call on the respective data from Zuper.

Fill in the details in the above fields and click on "Save Job Status Alert".
