How to Create and Edit Job Templates?

Job templates can be used to give a brief description of the job. These templates can be added to customer email notifications, invoices, and quotes. 

Creating Job Templates

  1. To create a New Job Template, navigate to the "Settings" icon in the Menu.
  2. Locate the "Configuration Settings" section and select "Job Settings". mceclip0.png
  3. You will be redirected to the "Job Settings"  page, select the "Job Card Templates" button under "Configurations".
  4. Now, click on the "New Template" button in the Job Card Templates table.mceclip1.png
  5. This will prompt a Create New Job Card Template dialog. Enter a name for your New Job Templatemceclip2.png
  6. In the "Select Category" dropdown, select the specific job category for which this template is being created.
  7. Add a description about the template in the Template Description text box.
  8. Enter the required information for the template, if you would like to create the template using HTML, click on the "HTML" toggle button on the top right.
  9. The available components can be used to insert the respective information from Zuper into the template.
  10. Fill in all required fields and select "Save Template" to create a new job template.

Editing Job Templates

  1. Once you click on the Job Card Templates field in the left pane of the Job Settings Page, you will see a list of all job templates.   
  2. To edit a job template, click on the "Edit" icon on the specific job template which you would like to edit.
  3. It will prompt open the "Edit Job Card Template" dialog.
  4. You can customize the template and click on "Validate Template" to check whether the customization was a success.
  5. If there are any issues with your template, you will get an Error Message right below the Template Description text box.
  6. Once you have made the required changes, click on "Update Template".

Deleting Job Templates

  1. Once you click on the Job Card Templates field in the left pane of the Job Settings Page, you will see a list of all job templates.   
  2. To delete a job template, click on the "Delete" icon on the specific job template which you would like to delete.
  3. It will prompt open the "Delete Job Card Template" dialog.
  4. To delete the template, you will have to confirm your action by clicking on the Delete button.
