How to Create and Edit Customer Reminder for Quotes and Invoices?

When either your quote has not received a response or your invoice hasn't been paid by the customer within the due date, you can send a reminder via email/SMS to the customer prompting them to take action. 

Creating Customer Reminders

  1. Select the "Settings" icon in the Menu.
  2. Under the "Configuration Settings" category, select "Quotes & Invoice".mceclip0.png
  3. Once you click on the "Customer Reminders" tab in the left pane of the Quotes & Invoice Settings Page, you will see a list of all predefined customer reminders.   
  4. Select the type of reminder (quote/invoice) in the "Type" dropdown.mceclip1.png
  5. Enter the name of the reminder in the "Reminder Name" field.

  7. Enter the number of days after which the reminder should be triggered in the "Remind Before" field. In the case of quotes, it will be the number of days prior to the expiry date. In the case of invoices, it will be the number of days prior to the payment due date.
  8. Select the type of reminder (SMS/Email) in the "Reminder Type" drop-down. If you choose SMS, you will be prompted to enter the SMS body. Whereas, on choosing email, you will get an option to enter the email subject, email body, and an option to add additional recipients if required.
  9. Click on "Create Reminder".

Editing Customer Reminders

  1. Once you click on the Customer Reminders tab in the left pane of the Quotes & Invoice Settings Page, you will see a list of all customer reminders.   mceclip3.png
  2. To edit a customer reminder, click on the "Edit" icon on the specific reminder you would like to edit.
  3. It will prompt open the "Update Customer Reminder" dialog.
  4. Once you have made the required changes, click on "Update Reminder".

Deleting Customer Reminders

    1. Once you click on the Customer Reminders tab in the left pane of the Quotes & Invoice Settings Page, you will see a list of all available customer reminders.   
    2. To delete a customer reminder, click on the "Delete" icon on the specific reminder which you would like to delete.
    3. It will prompt open the "Delete Reminder" dialog.
    4. To delete the template, you will have to confirm your action by clicking on the Delete button.
